Hello Blog!

A passionfruit vine lovingly tended in my garden, currently in flower.

It all begins with an idea. This one was originally suggested to me by Shaynie from FodShop. She first suggested it around August, then again more recently at the beginning of November. She was not the only person who had been bringing it up over the last few months (you know who you are) so decided it was high time I dove into the deep end and just did it! I’m not the most technologically literate, nor am I the most confident, but I do love to write, so it made sense to finally face my fears… and do it anyway?

With plenty of gentle encouragement at my back, I asked around and got a recommendation of an easy-to-use website platform that has LOTS of instructional video media.. and here I am! A blog is born. I am hoping that this will compliment and support all the work I currently do over on Instagram, and make my recipes a bit easier to follow, in a format that is more user-friendly.

The Instagram Low FODMAP community is a relatively small but mighty one, and the support I have received since starting up has been mind boggling for me. What started out as a way to keep some level of sanity whilst I am on the road to recovery, is now reaching people all the way on the other side of the world. I’ve had many “pinch me” moments over this journey, and am currently looking forward to helping people navigate the upcoming festive season, whatever that looks like for you.

So please bear with me for now as I battle technology to get things running the way I want, and as I slowly add and organize my recipes.

I’ll be running a blog alongside my recipes where I can share my thoughts and provide product recommendations, gardening tips, or whatever topic is popping up most from community engagement!
